Exterior wildfire sprinklers

Exterior sprinklers sit on roofs, under eaves, and around the perimeter. Pop-up rotors can sit flush until they run. Design aims heads into prevailing fire-season wind.

Illustrative FireShield planning notes describe roughly 16–20 GPM per zone line, 1-inch copper preferred, backflow prevention, regulators, and water-hammer arrestors. Rotor throw and nozzle choice depend on available PSI.

These systems supplement — never replace — home hardening and defensible space.
